A team came to me seeking an in-person retreat that could do more than check boxes or boost morale—they needed space to reconnect, name what had shifted, and re-establish trust and direction. We began with purpose discovery, clarifying what the team needed to honor, release, and strengthen after a period of change. Rather than defaulting to a standard retreat agenda, we identified the underlying relational and organizational questions the gathering needed to hold.

From there, we moved into prototype design, co-creating a lean, intentional retreat structure that balanced reflection, conversation, and shared experience. I supported and facilitated the retreat itself, creating a grounded, welcoming environment where participants could engage honestly and feel genuinely heard. Through reflection and next steps, the team surfaced clear insights, renewed alignment, and practical pathways forward—leaving not only more connected, but better equipped to carry the work ahead with clarity, trust, and shared purpose.

What others say about me...

I've learned that community can't be found, until it's been built. While most people are fortunate enough to stumble into the circles they exist in now, it's people like Joshua who put in the hard work of organizing, creating structure, and fostering the community that allows others to thrive.

I've had the privilege of attending a few events Joshua has organized over the years and his capabilities shine through in the success of his ventures. Joshua is detail oriented, resourceful, and care-centric.

He's skilled at fostering conversations and creating space for those to engage. Joshua's abilities are at the forefront of modern organizational development and as companies continue to study how humans interact and find the best ways for employees or groups to engage and produce work they are proud of, it'll become more and more obvious how vital a person like Joshua is to any organization.

I am truly grateful for the experience of "being at home" that Joshua beautifully enables every time I get to connect with him in person.

His approach to hosting and curating conversations is grounded in compassion, solidarity, and inquiry. He also creates spaces that have made me feel like I can also contribute to the conversation. I rarely enjoy networking, frankly. But I have enjoyed networking every time I get to do it while he is present. There is a sense of authenticity, courage, and intention that is rare to find.

During these times of polarization, loneliness, and extremism, it is refreshing and healing to come across his work. Our cities need more spaces where we can meet in the middle and reconnect individually and collectively.
